Learn more about the newly formed Diocese of Charlotte chapter of the Vatican approved International Catholic Grandparents Association (CGA), a prayer and support group for grandparents. Its mission is to help grandparents pass on the faith to their grandchildren and make prayer a part of family life. The local chapter has the approval of the diocese’s Family Life Office and aims to meet monthly. All meetings and events are free.

The next CGA meeting will be held Saturday, Oct. 18: Mass at 9 a.m. followed by 10 a.m. meeting at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Statesville. Topic of discussion: A Grandparents’ Special Vocation.
