Learn more about the newly formed Diocese of Charlotte chapter of the Vatican approved International Catholic Grandparents Association (CGA), a prayer and support group for grandparents. Its mission is to help grandparents pass on the faith to their grandchildren and make prayer a part of family life. The local chapter has the approval of the diocese’s Family Life Office and aims to meet monthly. All meetings and events are free.

The next CGA meeting is Saturday, Nov. 9. Father Matthew Kauth, rector of St. Joseph College Seminary in Mount Holly, will speak on the topic “Guardian Angels are Real!” Everyone has one – learn what the Church teaches on this exciting topic for yourself and your grandchildren. Attendees are welcome to lunch in Belmont afterwards.
