Quo Vadis Days

Quo Vadis Days is a vocations discernment camp for young men (ages 15-19) held at Belmont Abbey College. Its goal is to challenge young men to ask the fundamental question “quo vadis” or “where are you going?”, while equipping them with the tools and opportunity to discern God’s will for their life.

What happens at Quo Vadis Days?

Quo Vadis Days attempts to strike a balance between the activity of a summer camp and the quiet of a retreat. Each day of the five-day camp is structured to include Holy Mass, the Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharistic Adoration, time for personal reflection, and interaction with priests and seminarians. The program features talks by local priests, seminarians and others on the vocations to the priesthood, marriage and fatherhood. There is also time devoted to activities, games and fellowship.

Quo Vadis Days 2024

A discernment camp and retreat for young men ages 15-19

Online registration for Quo Vadis Days is open until May 29, 2024.

The Office of Vocations will be giving priority to older campers, as they are closer to the age when they may be making decisions about their discernment. We may need to make use of a temporary “wait list” for our younger campers. In addition, priority will be given to diocesan registrations, and if space is available, we will accept registrations from prospective campers from parishes outside of the Diocese of Charlotte.

After you submit your registration, you will receive an email receipt. This email receipt does not mean that your attendance is confirmed.

You will then receive a second email stating one of the following:

1) That your attendance is confirmed and you may plan on attending QVD 2024; or

2) That your registration has been received and placed on a temporary “wait-list,” and you will need to await a third email stating whether you can attend.

If your registration is placed on the temporary “wait-list,” an email will be sent to you by May 29 at the latest to inform you if space becomes available.

Registration Fee:

Once accepted to the camp, a link to the online credit card payment option will be sent to you by email. In addition, check and money orders are acceptable payment options (please see registration packet for more information). The registration cost is $150.
