Come out for a day of worship, fellowship and fun on Catholic Family Day at Carowinds. Start the day with Mass offered by Bishop Michael Martin in the Carowinds Theater at 9 a.m. before the park opens to the public. Enjoy the rides and all that the park has to offer, and enjoy fellowship with other Catholic families from across the Diocese of Charlotte. Take a break and refuel at an all-you-can-eat picnic lunch in the Grove Picnic Pavilion from noon to 1 p.m. Cost: $60 (includes reduced-price park admission, lunch and free parking). But don’t wait!
