People who experience same-sex attraction and want to cultivate the virtue of chastity can seek support and spiritual guidance from a local chapter of Courage International. Father Michael Carlson leads the ministry, which accompanies participants without judgment and helps illuminate the value of chaste friendships and dedicating one’s life to Christ through service, spiritual reading, and prayer. Open to those 18 and over, Courage also provides a community, so participants are not alone as they strive for chastity, as all single people are called to do, and as they seek to align their lives with Church teaching. For more information, email .
