Evangelization is not a single moment – it is a journey.

Through their ministry SEARCH, three Franciscan friars are bringing the Gospel into everyday places across Charlotte, meeting people where they are and walking with them toward a deeper relationship with Christ.

Inspired by St. Francis of Assisi and professed with the Our Lady of Guadalupe Province in Atlanta, the friars engage especially with young adults, the religiously unaffiliated and people on the margins, including the homeless. Their mission is simple: meet people where they are, share the Gospel, and invite them into a deeper relationship with God and the Church.

Their outreach includes:

• Direct service to the poor
• Conversations on college campuses
• Encounters at breweries, coffee shops, concerts and community events
• Bible studies and small group discussions

Working with the Diocese of Charlotte, local parishes and young adult ministries, the friars invite people to encounter Christ through authentic relationships and community.
