Uniforms

Uniforms are required at our schools with the cost, provider and options varying at each school. As a guide, the national average cost of uniforms at Catholic schools in the United States is $260.

Each school provides specific information about their uniforms on their websites. Most options can be purchased through Lands’ End, but some may provide used uniforms sales or swaps throughout the school year.

Parent Teacher Organization

Parent Teacher Organizations are a vital part of our school communities. Parents and grandparents are invited to join and encouraged to lend a hand to support the school. Time, talent, and treasure are all a part of a successful PTO partnership.

Transportation

Safe, reliable bus transportation is available at many of our schools:

  • The Charlotte-area MACS schools offer bus and shuttle transportation with routes in Charlotte, Huntersville and Mooresville. Details are on www.discovermacs.org under Programs.
  • Several parish-based schools also offer transportation. Please check with the individual school for availability and fees.

After School Care

After School Care is available at most of our schools and provides a child-centered, safe, stimulating, and happy environment that enables children to interact freely with others. Activities include: recreation and games, arts and crafts, homework time, snacks, holiday parties, and programs from outside groups. Students enjoy a safe, supervised, recreational and academic environment, and parents can rely upon this quality childcare option throughout the school year.

Most parish-based schools provide after school services ranging from $175 to $275 a month with other daily price options. Check with your specific school for availability and details.

The Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools offer an after school program for students in K-8 plus full-day TK and Pre-K students. Part-time and full-time is available and fees range from $30 daily (part-time)  to up to $250 (full-time) monthly.
