Registration is now open!
The Diocese of Charlotte’s Duc In Altum discernment camp and retreat for young women aged 16-19 will be held June 26-30, 2023. Online registration is open until June 14, 2023.
The five-day Duc In Altum event – part summer camp, part retreat – focuses on forming young women in authentic femininity after the role model of Mary. Through talks and time spent in prayer and worship, the hope is that young women will open their hearts to responding to vocations as wives and mothers, consecrated religious or consecrated lay faithful.
BEFORE REGISTERING, PLEASE NOTE: We have been informed by Belmont Abbey College that the dormitories normally used to house our Duc In Altum campers will be undergoing renovations this summer. This will result in a slight reduction in the number of spaces available for DIA campers this summer, and only applicants between the ages of 16 and 19 will be considered. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.
After submitting your registration, you will receive an email receipt. This email receipt does not mean that your camper’s attendance is confirmed. You will then receive a second email stating one of the following:
- Your camper’s attendance is confirmed and she may plan on attending DIA 2023; or
- Your camper has been placed on a temporary “wait-list” and will need to await a third email stating whether she can attend; or
- Space is not available this year.
If your camper is placed on the temporary “wait-list,” an email will be sent to you by June 14 at the latest to inform you if space becomes available for your camper.
