Mrs. Senait Tedla

Biography
enait Tedla is the Office Coordinator for the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Southeast Regional Office of Catholic Relief Services, which is the official international relief aid and development agency of the U.S. Catholic Church. Senait is responsible for the administrative systems, physical infrastructure and general communications for the regional office with all its internal and external constituencies. Senait helps promote the many faith formation programs of CRS like CRS Rice Bowl and Ethical Trade. Senait recently travelled on a CRS Delegation Visit to Burkina Faso.
Senait brings over five years of nonprofit experience to CRS; prior to joining CRS, she worked for CARE USA as a donor relations specialist and for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Atlanta as an administrative assistant and case manager. Senait is a native of Eritrea, and has lived and studied in India and the U.S. She holds a master’s degree in international affairs and development from Clark Atlanta University and a master’s in economics from Puna University. Senait currently resides in McDonough, GA, with her husband and three children

Together, we will explore the free lesson plans, activities & prayer resources created through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching, charity and justice. Michael will share touching stories from the Philippines, Burkina Faso and Uganda of how the US Catholic Church is answering the Gospel call to love our neighbor. Our time together will hopefully leave you feeling energized as you return to the classroom to shape your students into becoming global citizens and missionary disciples.
