Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools (MACS) has designed an After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) to meet the needs of the K-8 children, full day preschoolers and full day TK children.
The MACS ASEP will provide a child-centered, safe, stimulating, and happy environment, which will allow children to interact freely with others. The full time Pre-K- Fifth grade will offer a variety of activities which will include: recreation and games, arts and crafts, homework time, snacks, holiday parties, and programs from outside groups.
The middle school ASEP will provide a program to meet the specific needs of adolescents. Student will be exposed to safe, supervised, recreational and academic environment, providing these students with the ability to complete homework and projects.
The program will provide quality childcare, which parents can rely upon throughout the school year.
MACS Summer Camp 2017 offers campers a wide variety of activities and experiences in a safe and stimulating environment. Campers have the opportunity to choose among many fun activities during part of each day empowering the child to design some of his or her day. The structured camp hours are from 9:00 am—4:00 pm. During these hours, camp activities include weekly theme instructional classes, field trips, crafts, sports, and games. During the hours of 7:30 am—9:00 am and 4:00 pm—6:00 pm, campers can participate in activities of their choice including outside play, strategic games, movies, arts and crafts, and the camp newsletter club.
Summer Camp locations are offered at St. Mark, St. Matthew, and St. Patrick Catholic Schools. Hours of operation are from 7:30 am—6:00 pm.
