On June 24, 1962 Bishop Vincent Waters, Ordinary of the Diocese of Raleigh, dedicated Holy Infant Church in Reidsville. The Gaetano family of Orange, Connecticut financed the construction of the church and chose its name. Fr. Edward O'Doherty, a retired Lt. Colonel in the British Royal Airforce, became the first resident pastor of Holy Infant in 1968. |
