On 13 July 1952 the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was offered for the first time at Our Lady of Grace Church in Greensboro. The church was constructed through donations from the Julian Price family as a memorial to Julian's wife Ethel and was modeled after Our Lady of Refuge Church in Brooklyn, NY. Our Lady of Grace was dedicated the following September by then-Apostolic Delegate, Archbishop Amleto Cocognani. |
